YouTube continues to grow as their Revenue is set to surpass Disney's, according to reporting by Deadline. A financial analyst suggests that the business is responsible for around 30% of Alphabet's valuation. Our take: Ad revenue on YouTube is key as the service continues to roll.
Director Sam Mendes announced at CinemaCon the cast of Four new movies about the Beatles, according to Variety. Mendes is calling it the “first binge-able theatrical experience.” Paul Mescal is cast as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn will play George Harrison, Barry Keoghan is Ringo Starr and Harris Dickinson will play John Lennon. Our take: Usually this would scare us a little bit, but Sam Mendes is solid, and the cast sounds terrific.
Dolby Laboratories and AMC Entertainment have announced Plans to build 40 new movie theaters through 2027, reports The Wrap. Our take: They're betting on premium screens. We're rooting for them to succeed.
